Mike was born and grew up in Ramsey, NJ, just outside of New York City before moving to southeastern Pennsylvania in 2009. Upon high school graduation, he attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He knew he wanted to be in the business world as a career, but was unsure which subject he wanted to study. It wasn’t until the summer of his sophomore year after reading “Snowball” by Alice Schroeder, a biography on Warren Buffett, when he began to form deep passion for finance. He wanted to gain a better understanding of how the financial system works in hopes that he found his calling. The next semester he changed his major to finance, and minor to economics.
Outside of learning the subjects in school, he continued to gain a knowledge outside the classroom by reading any finance books he can get his hands on and opened up a brokerage account--the idea being by investing and trading with his own money, he'll learn the ropes and have real skin in the game. Before graduating college, he signed onto Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor and started studying for the Series exams.
Since September 2016, Mike has made a career out of his passion for finance: by using the tools, knowledge and expertise he's accumulated over the years to help families and small businesses map out their own unique path to reach their financial goals.
Outside of work Mike enjoys giving back to his local community as an active member of Rotary, is an avid golfer and member at Phoenixville Country Club and a huge sports fan--particularly Formula 1.
